 Overview
The Art Wall, Jr. Memorial, formerly The Hemlock Championship, gives amateur golfers ages 40 and over, the opportunity to compete against one-another.
 Format
The Art Wall, Jr. Memorial will be played over 36 holes of stroke play. Players will be re-paired for the second round according to first-round results. There will be three age divisions in the Art Wall, Jr. Memorial, the Super-Senior age division will compete from a different tee.

AGE DIVISIONS: Age 40-54 - Age 55-64 - Age 65 and older (ages 40-64 Play from same tees).

 Eligibility
The Art Wall, Jr. Memorial is open to any male amateur golfer, age 40 and older as of Sept. 24, who is a member of a club belonging to the Pennsylvania Golf Association or an individual member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association.

 Field
The Art Wall, Jr. Memorial is limited to 110 contestants. After guaranteed spots, entries will be accepted based upon first come-first serve basis. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the entry closing date. Entry fee for the Art Wall, Jr. Memorial is $180, which must accompany the entry.
 Pairings
Players who have been accepted as participants in Pennsylvania Golf Association championships will receive event information concerning course assignment, practice rounds, pairings, and starting times approximately 10 days prior to the event. If you have not received your information seven days prior to the event, it is your responsibility to contact the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Information can also be found at www.pagolf.org.
 Starting Times
The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry blanks will determine pairings and tee times. Contestants will be notified of starting times by mail. The "Official Time" will be maintained at the starting tee(s) only. Starters will not page players in advance of their starting time. Players should report to the tee one starting interval prior to their tee time. 1st round results will determine 2nd round pairings.
 Caddie & Cart
Carts are Mandatory at this event at the request of the host facility. Cart fee of $35/day including range will be collected at time of entry.

 Prizes
The individual with the lowest gross score after 36-holes will be declared the Art Wall, Jr. Memorial Champion. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 5 from the 40-54 age group, the top 3 from the 55-64 age group, and the Super-Senior Champion.

Prizes will also be awarded to the team (team members must be from the same club) that posts the best 2 scores of 3 for the two rounds of the event (Championship & Senior Division Only).
 Ties
In the event of a tie for the Art Wall, Jr. Memorial Championship or Super-Senior Championship, there will be a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play Tuesday afternoon. All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines.
 Practice Round
Practice rounds will be available at the discretion of the pro shop. Please call 570-587-3514 to schedule a tee time up to two weeks in advance.
Practice round fee: $80 includes cart, cart required for practice round.
Payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Cash, or reciprocal club charge, if available.
 Practice Range
Will be open approximately one hour prior to the first starting time.
 Registration
Please be at your starting tee at least ten minutes prior to your starting time.
 Food & Beverage
A lunch buffet will be provided on each day for all players only from approximately 11-3, and is included in entry fee. On Monday evening beginning at 5:00, a celebration of Art Wall, Jr.’s Masters victory will be provided by the membership at CC of Scranton. Additional F&B purchases will be available in the clubhouse (Cash or CC) and halfway house (Cash).
