Fownes, Jr., Amateur Player of the Year standings, champions of the event from the past five years, and the current club champion of the host site. The 2018 POY standings resulted in an 11-way tie for the 64th position. If the event is full, those players will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis according to time of entry.|
