 Club History

Designed by the world-renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills, the course at Regents’ Glen features a front nine laid out on gently undulating meadows. The back nine brings more elevation changes and more difficulty, with strategically placed bunkers, lakes and a hidden brook that lies in wait for mishit shots. A large, devilishly-situated lake presents a challenge on the No. 11 tee. Those who dare to carry a large portion of this hazard will be rewarded with a shorter approach to the flagstick. But the hidden brook and deep bunker in front of the green make arriving in regulation a tall order, regardless of the strategy one chooses from the tee.

The 13th hole passes through a heavily wooded glen, giving the course its name and giving inaccurate golfers trouble. No. 15 reads as a short par four on the card, but with a dogleg right, precision is a must. Proper club selection and accuracy are important on the approach, as a misjudged shot here will reacquaint you with the hidden brook. Back-to-back par fives (Nos. 16 and 17) give golfers the opportunity to use more clubs out of their bag.
