The Open Championship will be played over 54 holes of stroke play with the lowest gross score determining the winner. Play is scheduled as follows: First round, 18 Holes. Second round, 18 Holes. Third round, 18 holes. The low 40 and ties continue to third round. Players will be re-paired according to 36-hole results.
The Open Championship is open to any male amateur golfer who is a member of a club belonging to the Pennsylvania Golf Association or is an individual member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Amateurs need to have a USGA Handicap Index of 7.4 or lower as of June 29. The championship is also open to all professional golfers residing in Pennsylvania or those who are golf professionals of a Member Club.

The Open Championship field is limited to 120 entries. The field will consist of exempt and at large players. Each entrant, not exempt, shall compete in a sectional qualifying event to determine the 120 player field. At closing it will be determined how many spots are available for qualifying once exempt players have been identified. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the entry closing date. Entry Fees are as follows: AMATEUR $185 - PROFESSIONAL $235
Players who have been accepted as participants in Pennsylvania Golf Association championships will receive event information concerning course assignment, practice rounds, pairings, and starting times approximately 10 days prior to the event. If you have not received your information seven days prior to the event, it is your responsibility to contact the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Information can also be found at
 Starting Times
The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry blanks will determine pairings and tee times. Contestants will be notified of starting times by mail. The "Official Time" will be maintained at the starting tee(s) only. Starters will not page players in advance of their starting time. Players should report to the tee one starting interval prior to their tee time.
 Caddie & Cart
Carts are not permitted in the Open Championship proper. All players and caddies must walk at all times during the stipulated rounds.
Club caddies are available on a limited basis. Players wishing to reserve a club caddie MUST email Caddie Master Ryan Plower at in advance.
Standard Waynesborough caddie rate is $70/bag plus tip.
Pull Carts NOT Permitted.
The player returning the lowest 54-hole score will be awarded the title of Open Champion and his name engraved on the Arnold Palmer Trophy. Prizes will be awarded to the top six amateur contestants with the lowest scores.

First place prize money TBD.

In the event of a tie for the lowest score in the Open Championship, a sudden-death playoff will be held following conclusion of play, Wednesday afternoon.

In the event of a tie for the final qualifying positions in an Open qualifier, the number of qualifying positions plus ties will gain entrance into the Championship Proper.

 Practice Round
Practice rounds will be available beginning on August 1st and on a space available basis as determined by the club. Players may call the golf shop at 610-296-2122 up to five days in advance to make proper arrangements.
Practice round fee: $35
Cart fee: $35
Caddie fee: $90/bag
Cart or Caddie required for practice round.

 Practice Range
Will be open approximately one hour prior to the first starting time. The practice range will close each evening at 7:00 p.m.
Please be at your starting tee at least ten minutes prior to your starting time. There is no formal registration.
 Food & Beverage
Lunch will be provided for players only on each day of competition from approximately 11:00-3:00. Caddies/spectators may purchase lunch via cash. Additional F&B purchases will be available.
