New and Improved Registration Process through Golf Genius Rolling out in mid-February, the Pennsylvania Golf Association will utilize technology from Golf Genius for a new and improved user experience for event registration. All players will be required to complete a one-time account registration process to be added to the Golf Genius Pennsylvania Golf Association database. Note: If you already have an active Golf Genius account, use your existing account information to complete the PAGA Master Roster registration. If you have an account with GAP or WPGA, you will still need to register through the PAGA Golf Genius portal.

Senior Open Championship Added – Lehigh Country Club – May 11-12 (CANCELED) The Senior Open Championship will be a 36-hole individual stroke play event. It is open to any male amateur golfers 50 years of age or older who are members of a PAGA Member Club or an individual member of the PAGA and professional golfers 50 years of age or older residing in Pennsylvania. Amateurs need to have a USGA Handicap Index of 7.4 or lower. Residency is not a requirement for professionals who are employed at a PAGA Member Club. Regional 18-hole stroke play qualifying events will take place at North Hills Country Club on April 21 and Diamond Run Golf Club on April 30. The professional purse will be $15,000.
Women’s Amateur Format Change to Stroke Play – Lebanon Country Club – Aug. 3-5 The Women’s Amateur Championship will now be played as an individual stroke play event. The event will have four divisions: Amateur, Mid-Amateur, Senior and Super-Senior. The Amateur Division will consist of 54 holes of stroke play over three days. The Mid-Amateur, Senior and Super-Senior divisions will consist of 36 holes of stroke play over two days. All four divisions will play from different tee sets. Players 25 years of age or older are eligible for the Mid-Amateur Championship; she must designate if she wishes to play in the Amateur or Mid-Amateur Division during registration. Players 50 years of age or older are eligible for the Senior Division. Players 65 years of age or older are eligible for Super-Senior Division. If a Super-Senior player wishes to compete in the Senior Division, then she must declare so during registration.
Senior Women’s Amateur Match Play Added – Radnor Valley Country Club – May 27-28 The Women’s Senior Amateur Match Play Championship will have a Senior (50 years of age or older) and Super-Senior (65 years of age or older) Division. The event will be played over three rounds of match play over two days. Each women’s division will begin with eight players. Invitations and seedings will be determined by a points list based on the previous three years of Pennsylvania Women’s Amateur Championship results (Senior & Super-Senior). One spot in each division will be reserved for the host site club champion, if eligible.
Women’s Four-Ball Championship Now Two Days – West Shore Country Club – Oct. 6-7 The Women’s Four-Ball Championship will now be a 36-hole event over two days of competition. Previously, the Association held two separate one day events. There will be a Championship (gross only) Division and an Open (gross/net prizes) Division. Each division will play from different tee sets.
