2022 Championship Schedule Released

Time to play some competitive golf, Pennsylvania.

The 2022 Pennsylvania State Golf Association Schedule is ready for viewing – and playing. The slate begins with the 81st George Dressler Memorial Championship (April 26-27 at Berkshire Country Club) and concludes with the 3rd Women’s Four-Ball Championship (Sept. 26-27 at Westmoreland Country Club). In between, there are a plethora of events offering for players of any skill level.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the tremendous venues on tap for this year’s championship schedule. Throughout the state, we’ll be hosted by some of the best Pennsylvania has to offer. Our players will enjoy some fantastic golf opportunities in 2022,” said PAGA Director of Competitions Neil Gilman.

Major championships continue to sparkle on the PAGA Schedule year-in and year-out. 2022 is no exception. The 109th Pennsylvania Amateur Championship will take place July 25-27 at Llanerch Country Club. This year’s 106th Open Championship heads to Longue Vue Club on Aug. 8-10. The 29th Middle-Amateur Championship rounds out the Major slate on Sept. 19-20 at Country Club of Scranton.

For Seniors, the 2nd Senior Open Championship is scheduled for May 2 and 3 at Valley Brook Country Club, while the 63rd Senior Amateur Championship tees off Aug. 1-2 at Schuylkill Country Club. In the Junior ranks, the Junior Boy’s and Junior Girl’s Championships are once again set for Hershey Country Club, June 27-28.

The Women’s championship offerings in 2022 travel to some incredible golf venues, too. The 86th Women’s Amateur Championship gets going Aug. 1-3 at Lancaster Country Club, also the site of the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open. In addition to the Women’s Amateur, the before mentioned Women’s Four-Ball is another fantastic playing opportunity. For Seniors, the 2nd Women’s Senior Match Play tees off May 9 and 10 at Carlisle Country Club.

If you plan on competing in any Pennsylvania Golf Association championships, you must first create a Golf Genius account through the PAGA registration form. Once a Golf Genius account is created you will need to select one of the following membership levels in order to be eligible.
