Richter and Boreman Win 2023 Women's Four-Ball

Kutztown, PA-  Paige Richter of Bucknell University and McKylie Boreman of Alvernia College won the 3rd Pennsylvania Women’s Four-Ball Championship with a score of 1-over par 147 in the two-day 36-hole event.  The Tournament was contested at Moselem Springs Golf Club.  The winning pair shot at impressive 2-under par 71 in the rain on Monday to build a 7-shot lead and followed that with at 76 on Tuesday.  There was a two-way tie for second place with Emilee Barkley (Moselem Springs) and partner Brooke Graham and the team of Jocelyn Abel (Regents Glen CC) and Molly Gorman (Wyoming Valley CC).

 

In the Senior Flight, Delia Keys (Moselem Springs GC and Lisa Klein (RiverCrest GC and Preserve) started the day with a 2-shot deficit to the team of Alexandra Frazier (Gulph Mills GC) and Karen Siegel (Commonwealth National GC). The winning team started fast on day two as Delia Keys birdied the first holes to tie the lead early in the round.  They played steady team golf the rest of the way and shot an even par 73 to take the 2-shot victory.
