   102nd Open Championship Qualifier Details

18 hole stroke play qualifying
This qualifier is limited to 156 players.
The Pennsylvania Golf Association WILL NOT have a sudden death play-off to determine the final qualifying position for the Championship. The Association will be taking the number of qualifying positions allocated for the qualifying site and ties to the championship Proper.
 Practice Round
Practice rounds will be available on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, July 10, from 2:00pm-5:00pm
Thursday, July 12, from 1:00pm-3:00pm
Please call the golf shop at 610-872-8461 to schedule a starting time up to three weeks in advance.
Practice round fee: $50 Cart fee: $30 Cart required. Optional caddie fee: $70

 Practice Range
Will be open approximately one hour prior to tee times. Please obey practice range rules and limitations.

   102nd Open Championship Details

AMATEUR - $185
The Open Championship will be played over 54 holes of stroke play with the lowest gross score determining the winner. Play is scheduled as follows: First round, 18 Holes. Second round, 18 Holes. Third round, 18 holes. The low 40 and ties continue to third round. Players will be re-paired according to 36-hole results.
The Open Championship is open to any male amateur golfer who is a member of a club belonging to the Pennsylvania Golf Association or is an individual member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Amateurs need to have a USGA Handicap Index of 7.4 or lower as of June 29. The championship is also open to all professional golfers residing in Pennsylvania or those who are golf professionals of a Member Club.

The Open Championship field is limited to 120 entries. The field will consist of exempt and at large players. Each entrant, not exempt, shall compete in a sectional qualifying event to determine the 120 player field. At closing it will be determined how many spots are available for qualifying once exempt players have been identified. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the entry closing date. Entry Fees are as follows: AMATEUR $185 - PROFESSIONAL $235
Players who have been accepted as participants in Pennsylvania Golf Association championships will receive event information concerning course assignment, practice rounds, pairings, and starting times approximately 10 days prior to the event. If you have not received your information seven days prior to the event, it is your responsibility to contact the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Information can also be found at
 Starting Times
The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry blanks will determine pairings and tee times. Contestants will be notified of starting times by mail. The "Official Time" will be maintained at the starting tee(s) only. Starters will not page players in advance of their starting time. Players should report to the tee one starting interval prior to their tee time.
 Caddie & Cart
This is a walking only event. All players and caddies must walk during the stipulated rounds. Players may carry their own bag, bring their own caddie, or hire a club caddie, if available. Players MUST call Caddiemaster Tobe Fischer at 717-393-2426 to reserve a club caddie. Push carts are not permitted at LCC.
The player returning the lowest 54-hole score will be awarded the title of Open Champion and his name engraved on the Arnold Palmer Trophy. Prizes will be awarded to the top six amateur contestants with the lowest scores.

First place prize money TBD.

In the event of a tie for the lowest score in the Open Championship, a sudden-death playoff will be held following conclusion of play, Wednesday afternoon.

In the event of a tie for the final qualifying positions in an Open qualifier, the number of qualifying positions plus ties will gain entrance into the Championship Proper.

The Arnold Palmer Trophy
Total Purse $40,000.
 Practice Round
Practice rounds available for local players (within an hour) on August 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 based on tee time availability between 2:30-3:30. Out of town players can arrange for tee times on Sunday, August 12, after 2:00. Players must call the golf shop to reserve a starting time at 717-393-4064. Practice round fee: $70 walking or $100 with cart

Lunch is included in entry fee and will be provided for all competitors on each day of competition. Additional food and beverage purchases will be available in the clubhouse.
