Gregor elected President; 2017 EC approved
Doug Gregor, Huntingdon Valley Country Club, will serve as President in 2017
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania Golf Association met for its Annual and Fall Meetings at St. Clair Country Club on October 4th at St. Clair Country Club in Pittsburgh, Pa. Mr. Doug Gregor, Huntingdon Valley Country Club, was elected to serve a one year term as President. Joining Gregor as officers are 1st Vice-President Kenneth Phillips, Lancaster Country Club, 2nd Vice-President Chick Wagner, Oakmont Country Club, and Secretary Jason Barkley, Huntsville Golf Club.
Newly approved members of the Executive Committee include Mr. Michael Chutz, Allegheny Country Club, Dave Fuhrer, Oakmont Country Club, and William Stasiulatis, West Shore Country Club. Retiring members of the Executive Committee in 2016 include Don Erickson, III, Indiana Country Club, Richard Hrip, Carlisle Country Club, James Mahoney, Lake View Country Club, and James Usher, Fox Chapel Golf Club. Mahoney served on the Committee for 14 years, Hrip six years, and Usher two years.
The 2016 Nominating Committee was chaired by Past-President Mahoney with fellow Past-Presidents James Callaghan, Rolling Green Golf Club, and King Knox, Lancaster Country Club serving as members.
