Welcomes LECOM as Title Sponsor
The
Pennsylvania Golf Association is proud to announce a partnership with Lake
Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in support of all Association
Championships and qualifying events.
“It’s a great
honor to call LECOM our title sponsor as we move into the 2017 season. We’re
looking forward to working alongside them to make it yet another memorable golf
season in Pennsylvania,” said Doug Gregor, the Association’s president.
The College will
sponsor every event on the Pennsylvania Golf Association schedule. In addition,
they will join with PinnacleHealth in support of the Junior Championship and
Senior Match Play Championship, as well as two other Harrisburg-area
qualifying events.
“We are
excited to partner with the Pennsylvania Golf Association to encourage health
and wellness,” said John M. Ferretti, D.O., President of LECOM. “There is no
better way to highlight wellness than to support the golfers at these
tournaments, who like our students put tremendous effort into achieving their
goals.”
The Lake Erie
College of Osteopathic Medicine is the nation’s largest medical college. LECOM

The
Pennsylvania Golf Association (PAGA) is the authoritative body of amateur golf
in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In that role, PAGA promotes growth,
preserves traditions and protects the integrity of the game, in accordance with
the Rules adopted by the United States Golf Association. To fulfill its
purpose, the PAGA conducts state championships and offers other relevant
services to its members and the golfing community regarding common concerns,
and assists them in promoting, perpetuating and enjoying the game.
